Carpenwater is not just for the specimen angler, we also have a good head of coarse fish with something to please most anglers. If you like to catch a mixed bag of fish this is the place for you. In 2004 we stocked the lake with Ide, Crucian Carp and Tench of various sizes, the lake already had a good head of Roach and Rudd with some specimen size fish. Specimen size Rudd are regularly caught especialy when using sweetcorn.
